Move Your Shoulder Blades

Shoulder Blade (Scapula) Movements:

Retraction = In to the spine

Protraction = Away from the spine and wrapping forward toward your armpit

Elevation = Up

Depression = Down

Upward Rotation = Angling up as you take your arm overhead

Posterior Tilt = Snapping the tip of your shoulder blade onto your rib cage
