Dumbbell Recommendations

If you purchasing dumbbells for the first time to use in my Strong Woman Society weekly zoom class, my Fitness Fundamentals workshop or for your own home strength practice, in general I recommend that you purchase:

  • A pair of 8#

  • A pair of 10#

  • A pair of 12#

Depending on your current strength level, however, you might prefer to start with a pair of 5#.

Remember: Purchase your dumbbells in pairs. Some places sell dumbbells as singles. Pay attention to the fine print!
